Description
Premium Handloom Pure Desi Tussar Silk Saree | Hand-Painted Madhubani Anchal & Border
Experience the confluence of two timeless Indian heritage crafts: the rustic elegance of pure handloom Desi Tussar silk and the vibrant storytelling of traditional Madhubani art.
Often referred to as ‘Wild Silk’, our Pure Desi Tussar Silk Saree is celebrated for its rich, unique texture and natural deep-cream and golden undertones. It offers a structured yet graceful drape that holds its shape beautifully through long events.
The highlight of this masterpiece is its spectacular, hand-painted anchal and matching borders. Utilizing the traditional Kachni (line work) and Bharni (color filling) styles, local artisans have translated ancient folklore and nature-inspired motifs directly onto the fabric. Because every stroke is done completely by hand using natural, organic pigment dyes, no two pieces are exactly identical—making your saree a wearable piece of fine art.
Fabric Care & Maintenance:
To preserve the natural silk fibers and the longevity of the hand-painted artwork, please follow these care instructions:
- Dry Clean Only: We strictly recommend professional dry cleaning.
- Ironing: Iron only on the reverse side of the fabric using a low-to-medium silk setting. Never iron directly onto the painted surface.
- Storage: Store the saree wrapped in a breathable cotton or muslin cloth in a cool, dry place. Avoid hanging on metal hangers for extended periods to prevent fabric stretching.
